We started the GlobalQuran project in 2006, due to the lack of easy to use interface and a lack of api available to other Islamic websites wanting to make the Holy Quran available on their site, but who didn’t know how to code. Thanks to Allah (glory be unto him) the site is now available to everyone including website owners that want to make the Holy Quran available on their own websites.
The mission of this website is to make the Holy Quran easily available in every home. We have made the Holy Quran available in text or audio format in several languages with features that allow users to browse verses, search and listen to recitations of the glorious Quran in an easy-to-use interface. We also aim to provide the Quran in hard copy format to those who need it the most very soon insh’Allah.
About the Quran
The Holy Quran is the central religious text of Islam. Muslims believe the Quran is the book of Divine guidance and direction for mankind, and consider the original Arabic text the final revelation of Allah (God). All translations of the original Arabic text are thus interpretations of the original meanings and should be embraced as such.
